Help~

Just bgt a 92 318i. I was wondering if there's a gear indicator on the instrument cluster?Well, I don't see any on mine.Have to look at the gear console whenever I shift the auto gear lever.Is this the norm?Greatly appreciate any input from fellow forumners.Thanks!! :ehhh:

Yup,its the norm alrite. Obviously the model not modern enough. Mine also same. You kena poison already by some of the fine folks here??keke

HEHHH...gotten used to it already....initially i thought it was strange..but after a while, i dun even bother looking when i shift..after all, i only shift a TWICE per trip!!

Obviously S is for Slow, E for Exhillarating Drive and M for Mad Driving hahaha !!!!!!!

Actually
S is for Sport Mode
E for Economy Drive and
M for Manual Drive.

In economy, it's economy of course...
In Sports, the car will hold it's gear until redline, then upshift
In manual, it holds the gear until... u shift the gear up or the gearbox give way hehehe !

Anyway, congrats on ur acquisition....
