Help! Roof mechanism malfunctions before the ling holidays

Was out buying breakfast this morning and discover my roof malfunctions.

It almost opens until the last part when the boot fails to close and hangs in the air. My most recent fondle on the roof was pulling the yellow tab on the inner boot lid for opening and closing the boot. The roof managed to reset and close but the problem stil persists after 2nd and 3rd tries.

Anyone experienced this before and care to share your experience? Thanks.

Did you check if there were any obstructions around the area where the roof stows away? I had a similar situation and found I had a shopping bag of clothes in the boot area that was in the way - and yes the roof was also hanging in the middle of the air

Just checked, nothing stands in the way, boot is empty
