I just went to a friendly LTA inspection centre and measured the tint in my glass - it's about 29%- I'm wondering now how I can go for a tint without going over the limit.
Most reputable brands specify the amount of light transmission for their films. Since the original glass is usually slightly tinted to begin with, you have to use a film that transmits a little more light(5-8% ?) than the limit. The dealer should be able to advise since they usually have the measuring tools to do the measurement.
