Not too sure how to explain this but here goes....
This evening was on the way home and as usual, was stuck in one of our glorious traffic jams. In about 15 min of sitting in the jam inching away, I suddenly feel a vibration ( but not as in shake-rattle and round kind) from my steering wheel.
It feels sort of a mix of heavy humming and throbbing kind of sensation. It then began to resonate around the car.
I quickly took a long look at the RPM guage; not change, constant 750 rpm.
Car still moves smoothly, no engine stall or anything.
As I cleared the jam and started moving at 40 kph, the sensation went away.
I think this is the second time ti has happened, only this time was stuck in the jam a wee bit longer....
Ride is 3 month old e90 320i...
Anybody got any clue or experienced it...or am I having a virtigo attack....
