Guys car feels like its got the handbrake on or just not engaging first gear after a stop. Vibrations occur after 4000+rpm any idea whats happening !?? Its a 320i auto ... feels like clutch is slipping when gas is applied after first gear its ok tho ... argh !! Transmission problems or cluch problem ?

If your mileage is more than 150 to 200k km, its def the gearbox. There is no clutch in a gearbox as it is using a torque converter. Most prob need to replace or if possible, recondition the gearbox. By right, the gearbox light would come on when that happens, you will go into a limp home mode. I.e. moving off in 3rd gear from start.
