Help! abs light on

Hi all anyone encounter this problem? I m driving a e92 coupe. It will light up sometime and disappear when I start my car the next day.

Below is some info as to what your symbol meant;

Check Control Message = Control systems! Drive carefully.
Message to driver/owner = Brake and driving control systems failure. Drive with moderation and avoid hard braking. Have the problem checked by the nearest BMW Service.

Possible Control Unit issue lies in... DSC Module 42 (EBV/CBC) or DSC Module 236

Mine lights up like that when

- the battery is weak
- just cleared the fault codes (disappears after a while)
- active front steering got reinitialized

Get the codes read .... probably that might throw more light why it pops up ....

thanks got it check at workshop fault code show abs pump is faulty but when i drive this 2 days the problem disappear and appear again.

The abs pump can be tested and reinitialized - can actually feel the abs thumping while doing so ......

This is a common issue with PFL E92. The electronic board comes complete with the ABS pump and is not cheap.

Not every WS got the equipment to test ..........

It's common sense to bring it to a ws that is a specialist in BMW right?
