Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie here. I'm contemplating to get a used F10 528. Any advise what should I look our for before signing on the dotted with the used car dealer?

Thank you in advance.

Thank you ac323. I saw a tread about gearbox oil, pan filter and stuff. Any potential problem that would surface after 100K?

if previous owner takes good care of the car - after 100k should still going good vs an owner that doesn't take care of the ride so servicing history of the car are important....

remember to sent to a workshop to check before you make the purchase..

Happy shopping

Cool. Any workshop you could recommed?

After check. Replace atf and mechatronic seals and bridge seals in the auto trans.
it would be hard anyway to check transmission if well maintained without a drain and fill. At 100k Km. I will do this after I buy. Or someone do this first before I buy to be safe. Seals and bridge seals too included

It could be the n20 engine.

n20 engine
Sometimes it involves other areas including the least expected e.g. vacuum actuator. Instead of creating engine pressure - it sucks the engine oil out of the camshaft latch and moves it along the vacuum hoses and flood the air reservoirs choking the turbo boost solenoids.
