Hi everyone :)

I didn't know there was such a cool forum for BMW owners in Singapore. I started driving Bimmers in 1994 and I am into my 4th one now. Although none of the models I owned were the high power ones, the driving pleasure alone was enough to put a smile to my face. (I must say that at one point, I almost gave up on Bimmers altogether because I had so much trouble with them. I then switched to a Japanese car but gave it up after a year and bought my third Bimmer.)

Do most of you guys go back to PML for servicing and repairs? I find that aside from the high charges, the sales people can be quite rude as well. Is it just me?

Hope to hear from you guys!!!

Re: Hello.

HI there Eagle. Welcome to the forum. Most of us stop going back to PML upon expiry fo the car's warranty. The two workshop most used by us here is either BVO or Juzz For Cars. The telephone number and address can be found under the "workshop" link which is located on the top right hand of this page.

Cheers.

Re: Hello.

Thanks for the tip! I will check out these two workshops when my warranty expires.

Re: Hello.

Welcome to the forum and hope you find it as informative and fun as we do!

Hello! Welcome to the forum! Hope you will enjoy yourself here.

As for the repairs, quite a number go to outside workshops as well as PML. The reason for going back to PML is to claim warranty if the car is still under 3 yrs. However, there are some items/repairs/mods that outside workshops can do as well as PML at a fraction of the price.

Cheers!

No. It's for personal reasons that I call myself Eagle. Now that you mention it, I don't even know what tyres my car is using. I guess I have a long way to go learning about cars =)

But I know that my mum recently changed her car tyres to a Decibel model (can't remember the brand) which is really quiet. Will the grip be compromised?
