Hi People
Let me give you some backround, I am 30 , living in Gaborone , Botswana and currently driving a Nissan X-Trail.
I have been saving and waiting to get my hands on a BMW for a while now and hopefully the time has come....
I am looking at getting a 2004 BMW 730i with 53 000km's on the clock, black in colour. My main reason for joining the board is to get advice on this purchase aswell as make contact with people who own the said model. I will also be looking for parts suppliers recommended by the board as this model in particular seems to have very little support on the US,UK and Canadian site. (guessing it was an Asian area release?)
I would really love some feedback on the above model and whether you guys think its a solid vehicle ?
I have been advised that this model was one of the first models with the i-drive unit and many people found it very non-user friendly? Did this particular vehicle have a lot of issues?
A lot of Singapore used vehicles are sold in and around my region. They are normally well kept and offer a bargain if you do your homework.
