Hi ! This is my first post.
Mods feel free to move it to the right place, just couldn't decide which was and this is the most populated.
I recently bought some M3 mirrors very cheap with wires hacked on Ebay. Basically I think a dealer has deliberately removed all the plugs (even opened them up and removed internal plugs and then reassembled them) I think the reason is to prevent them going back onto the secondhand market ...maybe they were going to be returned to BMW to be remanufactured and someone lifted them and put them on Ebay ....just a guess.. anyway I have them now and I know I can get them working! I have made up the looms and have worked out by searching different forums how to wire them to the car. see here

Im left with the problem of no internal plug .heres the socket
heres a photo of wires
grey red green white and brown (earth)
they go to the internal mirror motor
so clearly one is up, one down, one left and one right and one earth
the pink and orange have been taped up as they are unused (memory funtion)
the remaining brown and black are to heat the mirror
there are 7 pins (+1 empty)in it to correspond with grey red green white and brown (+ the unused pink and orange)
now all i need to know is which colour to which pin and where can i get hold of an 8 pole plug. i can do this by trial and error but if anyone knows the pin numbers id be having less faffing around to do.
