I used 1 fella who dup the key for me but can only open the door but cannot start the car...in the end he give up and refund me the money...I went to Mr. Minute instead.

i wonder if it's too late..anyway i know of a place where u can dup your key for just $15... it's at kitchener rd... the ah pek there very skillful... i've no problems with my keys... if u r interested let me knowhey pj, good to see another E36 owner..... hope to see u guys sometime to learn a bit more..as it is, the bloody manual is missing from the car, and well, i can figure out most things, except for the servicing indicators, and the OBC readouts...u know, the ones that show " 1. XXXXX"...then flashes in sequence "2. XXXX-more-XXX"... when u hold the odometer reset button and turn on the ignition switch.... bloody last owner..... and guess what..ONLY *ONE* key to the car!!!.. i'm wondering where i can duplicate it!!! (if its anything like my other Renault's keys, i'm screwed! they charge like $300 per key!!!!)
