Hello!

I have just joined BMW.SG and I am most impressed! Your site looks great and is just what I have been looking for. Your community sounds dynamic and friendly. Unfortunately there is no such organisation where I live.

By way of introduction, I am an Australian living and working in Brunei Darussalam. I teach English Language in a rural secondary school.

Last year I bought my first BMW. At age 15 I dreamed of owning one and at age 51 I finally bought one - is there a symetry here? I am now the proud owner of a 1996 520i. Carollas now pale into insignificance (appologies to Carolla owners!).

I have a question for the forum ...

I notice that I have some small stone chips in the paint work - how do you usually deal with these? Respraying a pannel will cost a fortune!! A 'touch up job' is probably much more practical.

you can buy touchup paint and STICKERS from your local dealer. If your car is still the orig paint just give them the paint code which can be found in the engine bay.
