Hello from a newbie

HI all

Just dropping a courtesy note to say hi. I registered for the forum about 3 years ago as then I wanted to get a 320. The dream only came through after 3 years when I signed on the dotted line for the 523 before the COE sky rocketed to 75k! :shock:

Anyway, hope to learn from all the seniors here and will try to stay away from all the poisons! lol.

sigh.

may not be able to fulfill the dream afterall. just not too long ago, the SE just called me that they do not have the combination that was stated in our agreement. give me alot of crab and bull, asking me to compromise. i totally have no confidence with the PI at this point in time. will be meeting them to trash things out.

their idea of resolving the whole thing is just to convince me to make do with what they have.

anyway, long story short.... i din give in and wanted a full refund. i know it sounds kinda illogical to do that given that the COE has sky rocketed the last round and all the car prices are adjusted upwards. but i feel that i dun have the confidence to deal with the company anymore. maybe it is destined that i can't join the big family here. sigh.

after getting a full refund from the PI, i went down to PML today and signed for the 523!

the list price of PML's 523 is the same as before the COE increase while most PIs have raised the price. coupled with the generous overtrade by PML, the price gap between the PML and PIs became significantly smaller. as such, decided to 'pain pain' one time and signed on the dot!

was pleasantly surprised to find out that the current 523 Highline comes with the Park Assistant! getting the car early Nov. looking forward (AGAIN) to join the big family. cheeriooos.
