New to BMW was previously driving Audi.

A quick question which I can't find in the search.

For 3 series (I think is E90?) 2007-2008 iDrive, can it be updated to the current idrive ?

Welcome. Types of E9x iDrive are CCC -> CIC -> NBT. Can't be upgraded via software, only way is to swap out hardware

Hi guys thanks for the reply. Is it worth swapping? Does all the new functions "talk" to the car?

Cool now I know there are such terms call CCC, CIC, NBT.
