Hello everyone,

I've been visiting this forum over the past 2yrs...current ride a R1150GS enduro bike from BMW Motorrad and a camry 2.4.

Attended BMW Advanced Driver Training in 2002 and that was how i fell in love with the drive of a beemer. From that time on, it was clear to me that BMW will be my prefered choice when i can afford it. Still aspiring towards a BMW car... perhaps a 2nd hand E60 520i for a start...

I'm 32, married, working in the transport industry, love driving & riding. Other interests mainly aquatic ie Koi, Arowana, etc

Dare not turn up for meet ups cos i would die from envy!

cheers!

Terence,

A warm welcome! :)

I'm still working towards one... you got a nice bike there! Is that for weekends only or a daily ride?

I'm sure you know Puny (Alvin) from the fish part... :p

Welcome welcome :)

Ryan,

Thanks for the warm welcome! Should've signed up earlier! My bike is for weekends cos my office is only 10mins ride from home, so no point in riding to work. What are u working towards??

Thanks for the link-up with Puny, havent met him yet tho.

cheers!

T6,

U are right bro! Except for the fact that my camry is only 6mths old! Nearly bought the 318 sports edition but my dad (we've been sharing car for years) find 318 lacking in space and he prefered a camry for space & value for money.

My regret is not having checked out a used e39 executive for the price of a new camry 2.4... Anyway, its now water under the bridge. Will keep the camry for another year or two to wait out the worst depreciation, but the next car HAS to be a beemer!

Currently with my black 318i approaching it's 3rd year. :)

Wow, an RTG comm.. That should be easily >6 pieces inside? Looks like you've been "hook-ed" pun not intended. No worries since this thread is about self-introduction.. :)

The transition from Camry to E60 seems unavoidable... Hope you get it soonest possible when the opportunity is right!

Cheers,
Alvin.

Thanks Azrielsc for the double welcome! Should've joined much earlier and make sure I'm the 1st bike owner here. My dream is to own a BMW bike and car - Ultimate Riding & Driving Machines! Still working at it... :)

Any plans for the E90??? My RTG comm 5pcs mix with my buddy's 9" red in his 5ft tank, so u are right, 6pc comm. My buddy also a camry driver, both of us plan to change to E60 in 2ys time.

YES. Would love to change but unfortunately not at this point. It's too early to say and I'd probably need at least another year to go before I'd consider taking the plunge. :)

An used E90 325i would be quite sweeet... :)

218 horses! Good choice and i feel a used one less than 2yrs old would be quite value for $. U going for the E90 launch? Would be nice to meet u there!

May go down if time permits, I reckon there's a need for the invitation card?.. Tied up on weekends running errands. And weekdays are packed with mini deadlines. :errr:
