Was prompted by the system to re-introduce myself - perhaps it has detected someone whom has not been in this site for awhile? Hope not because of a virus triggering this!

Used to work in the Operation area of the refinery. Used to drive a E46 318.

Now in working as expatriate in Malaysia, still with the refinery environment but on consultancy role now. Driving a white E36 325 to work and a black E46 328 for thrill.

Both cars are second hand and specifically the E46 comes with ACS body kits from front to back, side mirrors and Beryton 18" wheels/exhaust kit. The car was lowered by ex owner. Recently wife hit hard the front left wheel on kerb when bullied by a truck - in her excitement she stepped on the accelerator and steering too much; The absorber was bent which needs to replace, and wheel re-shaped.

The absorber was Blinstein (yellow) so changed like to like based on color at that time. Then started to read about the Blinstein Yellow B8 etc and its price

Questions are

1. Is B8 only the one that is yellow? If it is it is normal to be quoted at RM1600 - sound too cheap to be true. I am not sure the one I read is for front and back or just front - some mentioned RM2000-RM2300.

2. Now the car front has 3 finger gap between wheel and chamber - do I need to consider anything if I want it lower down again? How do I get it lower again, as this absober does not seemed to be adjustable.

3. Frankly I cannot recall how many finger gap it was before the incident...so normally what is the recommended clearance for front?
