Hi there

My headlights have these round markings or spots in the interior casing of the headlights.

Want to check if anyone has got any comments on how to clear them other than dismantling it to clean the inside

Ha. BMW says this is normal.
There is no way to dismantle the entire headlamp assembly w/o running the risk of not able to seal it back properly. If its not sealed properly, water vapours or water will seep in, making it worst
I think as at now, got to learn to live w it.

Bro 715 banged table hard enuff to have a new headlamp assembly replaced during warrenty.
U may wish to learn a few tips from him. Hahaha....

common problem. just have to live with it. i saw audi/vw/toyota also got this kind of stain mark on their headlights.
i find the stain marks on 5/7 series are more prominent than 3 series.

Well i've got some oxidation on the lens of my headlights. No way of cleaning it now. =(

Ooi dash, I didn't bang hor. I said I read some guys here did that and got them replaced under warranty. I still have the ugly rings on my lights....

We all have ugly stains on our headlamps. Sheesh.....
I wonder if the new F10 have this issue....

F10 will have them too, it's a matter of time. Cos it's normal!

Hmm, then have to LL live with it, but so unsightly, imagine ur car so chio and polish until so shiny then look at the headlights and can see the stains..geez..

maybe they use inferior plastics or the bmw lights too powerful..dont seem to recall having that in my previous accord..
