Headlight Washer

hi guys,

any experience with 'headlight' washers that don't retact fully?http://www.bmw-sg.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif

mine's a E92, and that thing don't sit in fully when retacted!! the top cover's loose.

Hi, I got the same problem with my e92. Got it repaired at PML since my car is still under warranty. You may want to contact PML first regarding the parts availability before sending your car to them. Also, remind them of your car color first They will spray the cover with your car color before you send in your car and that will save time during installation. I also have some problem with the display and PML re-installed the software (I think). Now my car side mirror fold and unfold itself (lock and unlock) during car wash (only during car wash but not always). Dunno anyone has this amusement with their e92?

When I switch on both headlamps, one is always on high-beam. What could be the problem? Any advice?

they could not replicate the fault so they couldn't fix it.
It happened again n now going back to make more noise.
The last time my car was returned to me with floor mat displaced,
rims still dirty, headlight washer smuged with oil stains!
Complained and only a trickle of apology from pml.

Hi Jvhuiz, hope you dont face the same issue again. I have my fair share of "grievances" with PML. Last month, my car was there for 3 days and the odometer increased by more than 50km. Too tired to say anything. Feel trapped since I have paid a premium to buy the car from PML. Love BMW cars, cant say the same for PML. Good day.

i drive an E90 320 with xenon. i didnt even know i got headlight washers.

so far, i've "activated" it twice without knowing how as i was activiting the wipers. got out of car then noticed the shampoo water on both the headlights.

anyways, how to activate the headlight washers huh?

when u clean your front screen with wiper water while your headlight is ON.. the headlight washer will activate.

most cars with xenon should have headlight washer..

when u clean your front screen with wiper water while your headlight is ON.. the headlight washer will activate.
