Hallow!

Just bought a 320i in Singapore. Wanted to come in here and see how fellow beemers owners are finding their cars, because, unfortunately, I hate the car now. :( It is brand new and yet it is giving me so much problems.

I hope to learn more from the veterans here. :)

Re: Hallow!

Now, now... what happened?

Re: Hallow!

car has been to the service centre twice within less than 2 months of collection. rattling sound at the dashboard, which took the second visit to fix.
reading lamp at driver side spoilt, even though it is not used before. :(
and 2 days after second visit to service centre, car horn spoilt.
and car is less than 2 mths old! :(
and the knowledge of the service centre staff left much to be desired. do anyone have such similar problems with a brand new bmw? I am soooo disillusioned.

Re: Hallow!

hmmm..maybe u are the 1/1000 owners having problems even if its a new car?

nothing is perfect..the owners here also have problems with their car sometimes..its ok..the forum will help u in that(i guess)

welcome in n enjoy ur stay! drive down to the monthly meetup..

Re: Hallow!

welcom kopibaby. but hey, cheer up and look on the bright side, the little imperfections shd be cleared up pretty easily, shd not be anythi major

Re: Hallow!

Well at least they solved the rattling sound in the dash. That would be difficult to diagnose and solved in some cases. The lights and horn can be easily fixed and then you will have a perfect car again. Enjoy it, it is really fun to drive. Forget the early imperfections, it happens sometimes. Cheers!

hi sting, thanks for the encouragement! i guess its just the disillusion feeling coz its like you look forward to having the car so much, u tink about it, u get excited about it and then when the car comes, it is not wat u expect lor....

Re: Hallow!

No no! I totally agree with you that it would be a disappointment and I would be irritated but don't look back, just look forward to the nice drives you will have with it. Cheers!
