Had to tear away Infratint Sherman's skin....

Went for inspection.. STA at Portsdown Road.

Front and rear windscreen compliant.

Front two windows' film already ripped off.

Rear two windows on Platinum 20.


Sill fail. LTA's test equipment shows only 13% light thru. Had to tear it off on the spot. Even the small triangular section must tear off.


Next week go find Sherman liao.....

Regular inspection. I was trying my luck. So had a tin of Ronson fluid in the boot ready to remove film.

Told him I was stopped by TP before and they also think back window only ok. But they would not buy my story. So remove. lor. No big deal.

I have this only on four windows. Front and rear windscreens are LTA compliant.

i do find it dark to drive at night, especially when you enter badly lited car parks.

But the darkness is v good for the day hot sun.

ur lucky....some TP / LTA officer will ask u to go over to vicom for inspection, regardless if u offer to peel the tint away on the spot + slap u with a fine (am a 'victim' myself on my previous ride)....black tinting is simply screaming for attention .... of the wrong kind that is....my 2 cents if i may add, mod safe

Not exactly....beside paying the fine, they would want to ensure that you have since abide by their tinting rules, hence the inspection / validation by Vicom. Having said that, tis is what I've encountered, experience may differ slightly from different individuals ba

Sherman should work out a package deal with LTA. Some kind of brotherhood deal!!!

Sherman should work out a package deal with LTA. Some kind of brotherhood deal!!!

Brotherhood deal is worth only you do up the whole car with 'run lion' tints... Like my ex-E90, only front side windows tints not pass, the deal cost more than putting 2 new window tints... you guys know what I mean...

To see Sherman is an annual affair for me. But this year no need liao, but maybe will still go, heard got chio secretary.

I was at sherman's place this morning. He helped me to remove the front tint for inspection. Replacing them after inspection cost me money.

I can confirm so far there are only batangs, no lobangs.

I will be at sherman's place on Wednesday morning. Got 46% discount this week.. so quickly go replace the tint... beforre the Sillypore flag comes down.
