Hi, wonder if anyone here own GPS devices?
I am refering to those GPS receiver + PDA combo, not factory fitted GPS in BMW.
The reason for GPS receiver + PDA combo is so that I could bring it with me when I am travelling on business to other countries. I find it very useful and extremely time saving, experienced it with my recent trip to US with Hertz's NeverLost GPS system in their vehicle.
Couple of questions come to mind:
1. For GPS devices, are there any specific "standard" that I need to look out for before purchasing?
2. Are there any level of sensitivity (or accuracy) for GPS devices?
3. Anyone aware of any mapping software standard? Which would be the most popular that has map for major countries such as US, major Europe cities, Singapore, Malaysia ...
If you own one of the GPS Device, would be thrill if you could share your experience. Thanks in advance.
