Gotta love the Personal Hotspot feature in iOS 4.3

Must say I am loving the Personal Hotspot feature in the latest iOS 4.3 update. Now my iPhone 4 is functioning like a mobile WiFi hotspot and don't have to pay extra to the telcos.

Am making this post from my laptop in my car connected to my iPhone 4. . Still monitoring the battery drain.

Believe I'll probably get the WiFi version of the iPad/ iPad 2 next.

What sort of difficulties? You can connect the phone to iTunes and click Restore to undo the changes. Should fix the problem.

I'm using a hand-me-down iphone 3 (not 3Gs). Do u think i can use the new OS? Wanna do this hotspot thing for my laptop usage also leh.

Personal hotspot is not supported by 3G models. If you are still on iOS 3 series, stay with it. iOS 4 updates slow the phone to a crawl. Not advisable at all.

jailbreak your iphone 3 and install mywi to make your phone as a wifi hotspot in no time
