price range from $40 per rim to $100 depending on which workshop.

collection within the day i think quite difficult but not impossible

Hi sidewinder,

You may also call Mike (Sin Wee Chuan) 9107 4888.....try asking them if they have got 4x spare rims for your ride then when your rims are ready for collection then to a swop again so you can still drive while your rims is being spray......

are you going to respray your privats?

try angie. she did a damn good job for me the last time. around $400 if i remember correctly.

ask her to add an extra layer of lacquer. makes it easier to wash off the brake dust.

Jin, any idea that the matt type paint is available in yew lip? Say matt black or matt gun-metal colour?

but i am looking to repair/touch up my rims too

i know chrome rims can't be repaired
but how abt polished rims?

anyone has successfully repaired their polished lip before?

Got! Quite a few dudes have done the matt colours on the rims by Angie. :) Remember my matt Bronze rims that I recently sold off? Yup, done by Angie too!

Yup, I have successfully repaired my polished lips on Iforged rims! Its a real long process! 1st, u got to sand down the offending part, then sandpaper it using a few grades of sandpaper, then u use a polish machine to polish it, then finally a hand polish. All in, took me 2wks to do them, every night for 2-3hrs...

U can spray ur spokes but u cannot spray chrome! :) Unless u polish ur rims kim kim goot goot!

or are you offering your service? :p

other than sanding it down, i think it needs a layer of putty, otherwise, there will be a gap/depression is it not?

U must remember that u cannot spray "chrome".... so how are u going to cover the putty?

There will be a depression for sure...U just have to blend it in, no other way...

powder coat good. All my motocross bikes got powder coated, not once did it chip

chrome also good, but hard chroming better, that stuff never chips.

My new thing is anodising, purple, shiok

You can spray chrome, just gotta sandblast it first.

If u electroplate, u have to electroplate the whole wheel 1st. Then respray the spokes to the color that you like!

i think my rims the lips not deep enough, as my car is red in colour, i also dun knw what would go well with it... black is out... hmm... wonder if hyper black polished would go well

Skim off the dents ,then polish on machine . It will come out kim kim kut kut
