I think Poh Heng is fine and you can get your tires aligned elsewhere. His prices are competitive but be warned.. waiting time on weekends is CRAZY.... Call him first if you can.
Finally found a set of 18" to change to, but a question comes on the tyre pricing. How much would a 225/40/18 GSD3 F1's cost? Lowest I've come across was $280, Hurry tyres quoted me $300, Hock Tyre $320. Reason for asking is some forummers got quoted $240pp, won't mind saving some cash for rebalancing.
Also is there a price difference for german/thai made tyres?
I've got these F1 tyres on both my cars. As the others have said, they offer very good grip (especially in the wet), acceptable rate of wear but the noise level goes up with extended wear.
For those people who love its aggresive V-shape thread, check out this Adidas-Goodyear F1 shoes
I saw them in Germany but decided not to buy them as I thought I will be able to buy them cheaper in Singapore but have not seen them here. Anyone knows where I can get them?

Yep tats why have to save some cash go down to Stamford Tyres for balancing, I think usually the big companies have the suitable equipment for this kinda stuff.
Have been using Eagle f1 for my past 2rides a Rwd MRS & RWD IS200.
Superb Grip & manageable rd noise. Excellent value for money.
Slight tyre noise only sets it about 15k onwards turning louder towards the 25k mark.
Tink the life-span shld last easily 30k+ as i changed them both at those mileages.
My currently bought 2nd hand E46 318i is on eagle revspec. Not too bad.
Waitin for the tyres to run out soon perhaps another 5k. Can't wait to put on a new
pair of Eagle F1.
*By the way last chk (3days ago) 225/40/17 cost about $210(market price).
*Didn't know the 18" cost so much more. $260-$280. :ehhh:
Just had my ride done at Rays-S, Raymond offered a good no nonsense price for the F1's tires & Rims (thanks Peterpan for mentioning). Installation was quick & professional. Would Recc other Bros to check out his place too, Tel: 6342 2328. Kaki Bukit
