Good question Car Man..!

Honestly, the shine dun surprise/amaze me.. many product out there can achieve such shine even DIY.... under the sun with some polish, anything shines like mirror....

try under dim lights and shine with a white touch light to check for swirl / fine scratches.. if none and after smetime still as good, than THIS guy is GOOD!!
Agree here Daniel, under the sun every car with polish looks good.. i've experienced this myself. Best bet is to see under lights like the ones at petrol kiosks... try going there at night and take pic with the flash up close... u can even see for urself if there swirls or fine lines on them.

Has been about 4 weeks since the car was polished. Happy to feedback that the "swirls" have not returned.

I know what you mean when u said the swirls may return as lots of polishes can temporary "mask" the swirls.

I think he uses Jeff Werkstadt products. Apparently the sealant is quite lasting, car body still feels very smooth like baby bottom!

All in all, I am happy with the money spent! :)
That's good to noe that the swirls have not return, just wondering .. how do u check for swirls?, do u put it under the sun? check with LED bright lights?..share with us..

tried this guy and i must say hes really good. i think i dont need a mirror to comb my hair...
Pics always look good.. i remember when i had my car re-sprayed... the stupid guys at the spray shop polished the car and instead of making it better .. they created so much swirls that i was abt to just give up on maintaining my ride, go check on my car's writeup.. the pics... looks good uh??.. the pics were taken one week after coming out frm the spray shop... the amt af swirls on the car gave it the impression that the paint had "shadows"... so im not impressed by pics.. i rather see the real thing .

my car is parked in the basement of my house AND my office. the shine is apparent even in the dark and i have scrutinized it clearly under bad lighting. It still reflects ambient lighting within the area and there is no marks/swirls whatsoever. have yet to wash my car but will probably wash it soon. No time now.

Re: Good car shine!

Yup... wash it a couple of times then give us a FR la.. if no swirls.. the guy knows his shit.. if there are .. then u know he just covered em'.

aren't any of you afraid to leave your call alone with someone u don't know?

So you service your car by yourself??...

Re: Good car shine!

No i don't service the car myself but you know what I mean. Leaving the car at a workshop is one thing but to hand the car over to a freelancer is completely another thing. Wouldn't you say, or u reckon it is the same thing......

Re: Good car shine!

ohhh.. you talking bout a freelancer uh...

Well... frm my point of view is that If im willing to try a freelancer out.. i'd make sure there nothing but good compliments bout him.. IF im still abit kiasu and paranoid.. then i'll bring my trusty stool , magazines and my good ole coleman filled to the brim with lots of ice and wheat grass juice and i'll just watch him through out the process..

Well if the car didnt come back, reardriven wouldnt have posted me thinks and i wudnt hae tried this guy out. It has been a while and i have yet to detect any swirl marks on my car. with every car wash, it seem to be just like the day i received it. Very good sealant i must say.

Re: Good car shine!

Sorry that was a typo. Does that make the car look glossy or deep? Any other produxts that he uses?
