Getting new FL 320i this Friday

Hey bros,

i'm getting the FL 320 this Friday. First time collecting new car so a bit blur. What should i look out for?

What's a reasonable mileage for a new car?
Should i test drive the car together with the mechanic?

Congrats on the car!

I would think that anything below 50km is a good indicator. And I doubt u will drive out with the mechanic. Most, if not, all the time, your SE will sit down with u in the car at the collection area and run through with u all the gadgets for about 20-30mins. After that, u drive out the car yourself!

E90 ah?! Check out for air con clicking noises the moment the aircon is turned on. switch to auto mode and back to normal mode. do this a few times see if there are noises from the air con vents. switch the temperature up and down as well, observe for noise around the aircon vent area.

milleage should not be more then 50km IMO.

yup...just check the mileage...and all possible interior defects that you might find.
then sit with yur SE...have a ride of yur live going home then!!

Congrats on your new ride Hequanhui!

Eventhough my SE told me that car have been "run in" when I collected mine about 7 months ago, I still took the conservative approach an take it easy for the first 1500km by not gunning the pedals or overstressing the car. Just cruise along and enjoy the drive.

Have fun with your new ride coz I'm sure you'll love it!

Hi,
I asked the same question on running in as well. According to the manual, it says for the first 2000km, do not go over 4.5k RPM.

My SE also said factory ran in but just to be safe. I just collected my ride 3 weeks back!

Finally spot a FL 3 Series on the road yesterday along AMK. Overall, the car looks fresher, except tail-light looks a little too red though... Can PM me how much you paid for it? Thanks.

I just heard from a friend that the FL 320i have been going out of PML at $106k recently. Assume its the most basic config ?
