Guys as I mentioned to some of you last week, there is an 11-a-side match on Saturday 26 July at 5pm at Newtown Secondary School, 1020 Dover Road - one of the better - and the newest - artificial pitches in Singapore I understand. This has been arranged by the management at my previous condo, Yong An Park who have a team that we will be playing against. I have asked my team mates from the Law Society Veterans team to play against them but as they have very recently returned from Alicante, Spain where they played in the lawyers' World Cup (yes there is one and it is played every 4 years) numbers may be lower than usual. So for those of you who might be interested in some real football - but very much on a friendly basis - please let me know if you can make it. Cost (including pitch and referee) will be less than S$10 per player depending on numbers.
