Fuel filler cap does not lock!

Hi bros

Have anyone encountered such an issue before?

I locked all doors, observed that the fuel filler door jiggle a bit to show as if it has locked into place. But when I tap it in it opens!

really worried as anyone can now pinch my fuel cap and pour sugar into my tank...LOL

please help if any bros had encountered this before and the solution to it.
