730i. Getting about 7 km per litre. Update: as car gets older, things change

what is the differences in fuel consumption between e65 and lwb e66? If i am not wrong the weight differences is only 30kg.

I'm doing 7km/l.
But once, while cruising in Malaysia,
I attained 10km/l
I tot my sensor was spoilt! lol

Hi all, mine is E65. The fuel tank capacity is 88litre. On a recent driving holiday to Thailand, the car was on 95gasohol (PTT, Shell, Petronas and other petrol companies). The clock ranged from 10.1 to 10.4 km/l. Conclusion, a little alcohol is good??

It's more likely due to the constant highway driving.

On some good months like Jun or Dec during school holidays, I can achieve around 9.4km/l for a few tankfuls locally too.

my E66 is about 7.6 km/l, peak hour CTE

This car has the most precise instruments as compared to all the other cars I have owned. The fuel meter differs no more than 0.2km/l from my manual calculations after every pump.

Mine is at 6.2km/l when cheong but ard 6.8km/l when driving normally.. 60% Highway 40% City..

Malaysia 97 petrol - Highway 6.8 - 7.2km/l
- City 5.5 - 6.2km/l

Singapore 95/98 Petrol - Highway 6.6 - 7.0km/l
- City 5.6 - 6.4km/l

Diff for 98 vs 95 is, better pickup response, and cleaner engine.

Malaysia Petrol can run more in highway but lesser in city, whereas Singapore petrol can drive more in city but lesser in highway as compare to Malaysia Petrol.
