- Project 545i - Part 2
Collected the caliper.
Thanks to bro Jonathon for helping me w this lousy budget project.

Really a good job done!

** i got a wrong set of disc (Brembo disc meant for e63 645i) initially. Halfway tru the fix up, realised the diameter might be the same but the hat thickness is different.
Went back back to Eng Soon and got the Zimmerman 545i disc

Disc rotor
(Front 348 x 30, Rear 345 x 24)

Removing the boxes

Stock rotor n new rotor compare.
The 545 rotor is abt 10% bigger.
(The wrong Brembo disc)

545i front caliper

Surprisingly, 545i caliper is so much bigger than stock. Almost 40% bigger.

The rear cliaper is slightly bigger than stock

(New rotor cover whole dust cover. Just nice. Dont need to cut)

Conclusion, the size really looks bigger and nicer than stock. Hvnt got chance to test fully.

For those keen to try urself, best give them the vin num of the caliper when ure getting ur disc n brake pad.

Brake hose can reuse.
Lastly, pls get ur mechanic to check the calipers before u do anything. Easier to repair the caliper before fixing up.
Repair kit can be purchased separately.

I chose the 545i instead of m5 cos the cost of disc is 4 times cheaper but as 545i model is not available in sg, getting parts might b an issue (FYI).

They only got the front. Cost almost 400 per pcs. (4 times the price of this)

Rear no stock. So just take first lor. .
