Just had it rewrapped by Robson Design. Full leather with light blue stitching.
it's an original E30 4-spoke Alpina steering wheel meant for E30s, made in Italy by MOMO for Alpina.
(Alpina steering wheels from what i know cannot be bought brand new unless you have an Alpina VIN)
Just putting it up to see if there is any interest in it. It's slightly larger in diameter compared with my M-Tech II on the E36 so might not be fitting it in the E36 afterall.
Also becos it's a MOMO, if you intend to fit it to any other BMW, you just need to get the boss kit to fit your car.
Any offer about $### gets it. Will post photos later
here's a pic of the wheel after rewrap
(taken with flash)
Note that the centre portion is not wrapped cos that part is detachable and is actually made or rubber (it also has a "By MOMO" imprint on it which will be lost if rewrapped). Hence the slight color mismatch. But yea, can't have it all...
Horn buttons are built into the spokes (as per the original), they sit on the horizontal spokes on each side, just below the leather.
not desperate to sell it, if no one takes it, i'll prob. just keep it and hang it on the wall or sumthin...
