have a brand new still in box neo ion ipod adapter for bmw cars. the adapter connects the ipod directly to your bmw stereo.

compatible with all ipods with dock connector at the bottom. 3rd, 4th generation, ipod mini, photo, u2, nano and video ipods.

adapter is applicable to

3 series 96-05
5 series 97-03
7 series 99-01
x3 99-06
x5 99-06
z3/z4 99-05
mini cooper 02-05

not compatible with bmw vehicles with nav, satellite (stock)

basically it replaces your cd changer.. however, you can always add a relay switch to enable both the cd changer and ipod.

control of the ipod can be done from head unit, steering control or the ipod itself.

track name displayed on the head unit.

got it from the states.. dun think you can get it locally unless you mail order.. relay can be fitted at installation..

Is your Neo Ipod adapter model number "PODBMW-TV1"?

How is the relay switch installed? Where does the Neo Ipod adapter placed? Is it in the glove compartment?

Thats good price for an ipod intergration kit. I got mine for another vendor for a higher price but basically it works the same like mt053s Neo ion,good luck on the sale.

hi mix master,

basically its up to you where u want to place the relay n ipod.. most ppl would just put the ipod in the glove box since u can control it from the headunit.. but of cos its up to u..

as for the model no, have to get back to you as i'm in paris now.. back on mon.. cheers!

I assume the sound will be better than cassette adaptor?

sorry for late reply, just got back from a long trip.. anyway, the sound is much better than using the cassette adapter cos it's using the cd line. ive left my unit with juzz for cars at sin ming autocare.. so for anyone interested pls contact them.. thank you.

apparently can only listen to either cd or ipod..... billy said no relay to switch to cd or ipod leh...

anyone knows if there is such a relay?
