They'll fit the M42 just fine.. :)

For M42's built before '94 it's a direct bolt on.. for post-94 M42's and M44's you'll just need a small adapter.. the post-94 M42's and M44's have a air-shrouded injector so the hole is abit larger.. what most people do is machine a little donut spacer to fill up the gap

Re: FS: E36 M3 Parts - Shifter, injectors etc

Will take your injectors at $160. Pls check your PM for my contact no. Thanks.

sorry for sounding stupid, but what effect will it have on my M42?
that's a good question actually.. I assume if you intend to do a full exhaust, cold-air-intake maybe cams or something etc you'll net some gains.. BMW undersizes the injectors on its engine

Shifter has been reserved for Mark

OK the injectors are sold to watergt, I'll call you during the weekend

Here's a pic of my E36 M3 EVO vs. 320i cluster (the one below) .. the 320i cluster reads to 260kph and needs a tach adapter to work on 4-cylinder cars.. There's a part of me that wants to keep this cluster just to tear it apart to see what's inside coz I'm rather curious... I'll do a DIY writeup on clusters sometime in the future.. :lol2:

Re: FS: E36 M3 Parts - Shifter, injectors etc

oh shucks, then it's gonna be troublesome if i wanna install it. actually, i'm just irritated at the signal 'clicking' sound from my instr. cluster - it sounds a little too ... errr... sqeaky? or joon, is there a particular buzzer that i can replace to change that clicking that just sounds 'wrong'?

and oh, i'm keen in the short shifter - let me know if i get a place in your queue. haha...

cylinder to cylinder the EVO 3.2 is some 18.5% larger in volume.. kekekek... rich combustion... are you thinking of the dark side?....you evil dude.....:) ... time to siamz you liao

Re: FS: E36 M3 Parts - Shifter, injectors etc

Now I'm really curious. If you don't have an instrument cluster in your car what are you looking at on your dashboard now dude?

haha I put the M3 cluster in.. didn't have to rewire much.. basically plug and play.. I'll post a DIY write-up soon.. the ABS/DSC lights are constantly lit coz the older E36's use the more robust 3-channel ABS whereas the newer cars like the '99 M3 used a 4-channel ABS so I just pulled the bulbs...

BTW the 3-channel Teves IV anti-lock brakes are widely regarded as the best in class.. many club racers retrofit the older 3-channel into their E46M3's so that's a 1-up for us old-school E36's :)

Re: FS: E36 M3 Parts - Shifter, injectors etc
