Thank you!

Scratch on the front windscreen? How about reporting as stone chip, etc and get it replaced free from the insurance?

Dear Bro,

changing the windscreen is a piece of cake. First check your policy if it contains the free replacement of windscreen clause. If there is (which is most probable), then goto the recommended workshops on the insurance policy (some of them have designated workshops that change windscreen only) and fix a appointment. Drive in your car on the stipulated date and time and then you can goto work. Normally you can collect your car at the end of the day.

The one i change at was at paya lebar (beside autobacs). They are good and specilialised in changing / repairing windscreen. One thing i learn is once you are hit by a stone or whatever hard objects, please go and change it immediately or as soon as possible. The more you procrastinate, the larger the crack becomes. (Yes, it grows bigger overtime)

Hope the above help all bro who need to change / repair windscreen.

Br,
Alfred

8" may be long but if its a fine line maybe it can be repaired. The window tint people should have some contacts that you may try ........
