Considering whether or not to put these carbon fibre add ons for my frozen grey MIranda

Anyone here with these - and care to share whether there are any issues with clearing bumps?

Aye or Naye?

Re: Front Splitter or No?

They look really nice, but i think u might be scrapping ramps all day long.

Re: Front Splitter or No?

awesome looking....haha.
u are not alone Nizam....i already got a few m3 bros asking me to source for them.
think the temptation of the dark side was more than the fear of scrapping it for them....keke

Re: Front Splitter or No?

No problems clearing humps.... Unless you start flying over them without slowing down. The splitters are low but in line with the bottom curve of the center front bumper.

Assuming you are on stock / zcp suspension.

Sounds good bro. This might be worth serious consideration. Looks really good on the fozen grey car :)

go for it! I have no issues so far. Can get from Eng Soon. DIY.

Thanks, mate. How much are they selling at Eng Soon?

Someone at Munich actually forewarned me that some customers complain of scraping humps, hence my slight apprehension

Re: Front Splitter or No?

Which company makes those?

Re: Front Splitter or No?

i personally do not quite like it. It make the centre bumper piece look like a big mouth from afar. I personally prefer the front spoiler of the CRT. I am trying to source for it but to no avail at the moment.

These are OEM ones - official BMW M parts.

Apparently you can get replicas from Ebay (made in China) for a fraction of the price.

Now that you mention, i remember the same feeling the last time i saw a white M3 with that. It's true, it looks different from afar esp with a white car!

If u haven't seen one from afar with those splitters, u might wanna experience it first. As chongster mentioned, it looks kinda strange from a distance. I have not seen that on frozen grey before, but on a light coloured car, it's pretty off. It hides the side lower lip and only the middle portion is visible and looks like a gaping mouth.

Bro, if u do get it done, please let us know. Maybe the gaping mouth issue isn't so prominent on a FG. Will definitely check it out if u have it done :)

i'm one fine example of an AW with gaping mouth.. lol.. anyway, carpark, humps clearance so issues for me at all..

Re: Front Splitter or No?

Like Vorst one more.
Should work better at high speed.

If you scrape it over humps or going down on a ramp., that means u r going too fast.
BMW has very short overhang and this should prevent scraping on the lower lip.

Re: Front Splitter or No?

A must have for all M car. Black or carbon fiber it will look damn nice on grey color car.
