FRM woes.... X5 - E70

What started as incompetent workshop neglect at not performing the data input of a new car battery into the system, the IBS kept feeding components with weak battery charge,,,

... 3 car batteries later... the dreaded FRM short-circuited, auto activating itself randomly, remaining on at length, draining the car batteries until it seized. Power windows dead.... headlights not responding to manual control... costing the owner $$ and time.

ALWAYS perform a BMW diagnosis on the nice bimmer you plan to buy to make sure that all major replacement parts have been data logged into the system. Ignorance makes you PAY!
