Forged wheels from US?

Dear Bro & Sis,
Found a set of nice 'claimed' to be forged wheels made in USA. They look terrific IMO on E90 esp on AW as per pic.

US is not known for making forged wheels, right? Japan for sure. Are these wheels reliabile? They are damn light though. Should you be worried when the wheels is exceptional lightweight but made by not a reputable company in the US?

I love them but, it is advisable to get these wheels?

Thank for looking...chao!

Re: Forged wheels from US?

These rims are basically replicas from the Neez. The design is not exactly 1-1 to Neez but very close. Front rims may have potential problem for BBK due to cave in which is why Neez ones are flat for the front. Because of legal issues, they changed the front to concave as well but it ended up being problematic for those who are considering BBK upgrades. But the price is not bad for what it is.

Re: Forged wheels from US?

Morrs VS7 cannot clear BBK? I quite like it cos it cost like 1/2 Neez...hehe. The Neez finishing is of cos much nicer.

Weight = Neez?

Re: Forged wheels from US?

El, actually the front shape like that that should have a better clearance for BBK
If u look at the orig CSL shape, the front is flat shape hence couldnt clear my StopTech

Your Neez is flat face but your offset is +35, meaning your rim hub is quite thick to allow for clearance.

IMO, most if not all proper offsets for new 3-er shud be able to clear BBKs.

From what i have been reading, those using BBKs had fitment issues and almost all of them had to put 5mm spacers to clear. My neez def can clear BBK as its really good clearance from the rim hub.
