Hiadees,
Ok firstly let me declare that I am now made to eat my own words. I ve ordered an E92 335 from PML instead of PI :laughlik:

Mean time, other than waiting for it to arrive and PCC everyday, just want to shop about for a forged 19" which will be very light. So far I ve search the web and found:
- NEEZ ( very exp )
- i-forged (apparently nothing e90/92 yet)
- DPE ( any forged?)
- HRE (any forged?)
- BBS (I only know RSGT is forged)
- Volks (Arr this one TripleM has a Progressive ME, any other models?)
- any other brands of forged rims?

I wanted something with a DISH, altho am also worried if kena kerb how to restore.

welcome! just curious whats the waiting time ?

7 to 8 months:yummie: . The whole world is buying 335 sedan coupe cabrio after that engine won the world engine award. The car body is available not the engine which is in short supply. if u want 325, u prob can get in 3 to 4 months.

dun kerb it lo hehe...
congrats on the car.. wat made u decide PML instead of PI?

PI car got no i-drive and satnav, and a bit 'lay-chay' in selecting your options.

Re: Forged rims with Dish

Beng

check out the E90 Forum on the 335 ....whole bunch of aftermarket rims in there for you to choose.

Re: Forged rims with Dish

DPE - center forged, spokes are welded to rims barrel, quite light but not ultra.

HRE - center forged, cost a fortune. Some models like HRE C20, C21 are true 3 piece rims with Titanium fasterners. The rest of the models like 940R, 890R, 590R use stainless steel fasteners.

BBS - Many BBS rims are forged, RSGT, RGR, LM, LM-R, RE to name a few...they hv some lips but aint deep

Volk Racing - Only TE37 have decent lip but I dont think u will like the model. Very jeppun arh...The only model from VR that I like the most is the Progressive ME, it's DTM style that suits continental cars well.

Kinesis - Forged....cost a fortune. My fav is the K19R

FIKSE - Forged Modular....quite expensive but awesome performance wheels

Hamann - Competiion series...if u can live with 20, these wheels look good on E92..Autovogue of UK features this all the time in BMW Mag

Goin home now, continue tomorrow..

Ciaoo

Re: Forged rims with Dish

Yeah, and the Hamann costs a bomb !!! Not to mention the weight......

Re: Forged rims with Dish

In most of the dish rims, the dish itself isn't forged right? Its the centre thats forged, tio boh.

Re: Forged rims with Dish

That is right.........

Re: Forged rims with Dish

Congrats Beng! New something was up when you were asking questions on the E92 on other threads. Cheers!

Was a difficult decision. Went to see many cars(including Cayman/Boxster, Z4, 630i) and browsed the web for last 6 months checking out upcoming car releases. These days many cars are closedly rivalled. Eventually I did some analysis and calculation and the 335 with Procede is the best bang and power for the buck, much more than the new M3 also.
