.......pending loan approval for myself and the guy who bought my ride.

*** Juz signed for a 318i. 3yrs old. Never drove a conti car b4. Any advise
for me to look out for as this ride is 3yrs old. Warranty out..... Reliable?***

Bro, should i bring it to PML for a service cum inspection? Pain pain once better than later regret mah... Scare outside workshop might not be able to full dyno any potential faults.


* However i have a niggling issue with this 3year old 318i. When i test drove, everthing is fine except for some niggling sound seems to be coming from the door sides. Quite irritating when road uneven and turning etc... Ask the salesman he says it's due to the rubber on the doors hardening causing friction. He would get a special lubricant from PML to treat the rubbers and after that it should be very much better????? True or faulse???

Congrat to your NEW play thing. Hope you have done enough! When I got my 1year old 320 E46, I got the dealer to pay for a thorough servicing by BMW (physical go there with them to confirm what u want) and even though I know abit about cars like accident prone, but I still got it to STA for second opinion [Same thing, you should try to go there together as you might not know these STA may have some ...... (u know what I mean) with those Dealers especially those Big enterprise One]. If you used to Japanese cars like Honda, Toyota, then the fuel consumption for your BMW might be abit higher as BMW are high performance cars.

Finally got my ride yesterday. BMW does makes alot of difference! Although it's only a 4pot 318i, the valvetronic does makes the car respond eagerly. Can't be compare to my previous sti though... but the ride quality is simply

Still getting the feel of the car and it's features. Not much though but compare to my last ride this is like so much more...

Merry X'Mas to all... And to Santa(My FM)... Tks for allowing the change! (Car)...

Congrats Eric. You will not regret the drive you get out of the bimmer. Once hooked, you will never want to drive another make unless other priorities come 1st.

preventive maintenance is always better than waiting for your car to break down then to fix it. u take care of it, it will give you driving pleasure.
