Father Smashes Windscreen of 520 !

As this is related to what's happening in my BM so I put here...

How can it be possible ? How can we prevent it? I also got kid and want to avoid this situation (drive a E39 also).

I've got a valet key as well. There should be 4 keys in total, i believe. I am missing the small, black wallet key - got mine 2nd-hand as well.

Yes, according to the manual, there is a way to lock ppl inside the car.

I remember thinking... wa lao, the feature is very useful for kidnappers to lock the victim inside while going for a pee.

Anyway the guy's windscreen can claim FOC... without affecting NCB.

Yup....and when he left the keys there....he slammed the boot...and voila....a locked BMW...have locked my wife in once....but lucky I turned back fast enuf to realise she was not next to me

Good for Malaysia tho...the thief goes in...lock the bugger in...Set car on fire....claim insurance...Get new car...

U should have 4 keys....2 remotes, 1 valet, and 1 wallet..

Go to PML and order the wallet key for peace of mind..Jus dun lose your wallet liao

A brick wrapped in a towel will give controlled smash patterns, and you can then slowly work your way in.
