Factory reverse sensors vs normal ones

Hi,

I am thinking of installing a reverse sensor on my E46 sedan. To my understand, there are two kinds of reverse sensors. The first kind is the orginal factory sensor which can cost up to >$1K while the other is a 'normal' 4 point sensor that costs about $200+.

Can any bros here let me know what is the difference between the two. Is it really worth paying so much more? Is there a shop to fit a $200+ sensor without voiding my warranty?

Last time J4C recommanded me the invisible reverse sensors for 200++. I dont think will void warranty. You can check with them if they still have it..

Can the aftermarket sensors use the i-Drive screen?

Hi !

Look out for any E46 owner exporting their car with factory sensor.
Do a swap with them and top-up

Please make sure all the wiring can be transfered

Save money for other performance mod

I have a set of original PDC taken off my FL E46 which was exported last week. It's sitting with BVO, pm me if you are keen.
