Facelifting your E90?

Hi all,

I checked on the site sponsors who offered to facelift the PFL E90 to LCI model

Anyone has done it?

Care to share your experience?

I am thinking of facelifting the family E90 to LCI model.

Another question:
My brief research on the net shows that the F10 and E90 share the same wheel offset
Can the 17 236 wheels fit into the E90 with no rubs?

I ve seen a PFL and FL E90 with the F10 236 style Wheels on it and they actually look real good.

Any bro here has done that?

The one PFL is in Monaco Blue
LCI is in Alpine white.

cheerios

agree save the money for F30.

why facelift?

Re: Facelifting your E90?

Why don't get a M bodykit? $1000+ exclude spray. Definitely cheaper than facelift

Re: Facelifting your E90?

check out site sponsor miracle bodyworkz
there are various replica kits PP material available for pre-FL E90

another vendor, J's Magic (not sitesponsor) - can check out to compare

imho, pre-fl kit can be fast and furious and blacklines tailight looks better than LCI all red tailight

Re: Facelifting your E90?

Just leave it as it is as the new F30 is coming out. Unless you intend to keep this car to the 10th year then it might be a gd idea to refresh the overall look of the car.

Also no fake M3 bodykits. Lame......

Re: Facelifting your E90?

Unlikely to change the car as this was a gift from my late father to my mother.
A lot of sentimental value.
The car is still running great but the paint work is a bit dull and scratches here and there. My sis is a bit reckless in driving.
Hence deciding to update the look and give the E90 a nip and tuck facelift for 2012! hahaha

If there is sentimental value, I would feel its better to keep the original outlook of the car, spend money on doing up exterior damages like paintwork of body and rims.

Then the substantial budget that was allocated for the facelift should be spent on changing out worn parts at the engine and undercarriage to keep the car in tip top condition. If got extra, clean out the interior, change out worn panels, etc to keep the car driving and looking like new.

Re: Facelifting your E90?

Delrosa,

thanks mate for the advice, might probably just do that.
My idea was initially to LCI the car
Change M tech steering?
Water press the current interior trim from titanium to F10 Fineline Anthracite
Change the current wheels to my F10 236 Wheels.

Now I might just do the last 2 bits plus changing all the wear and tear stuff, touch up exterior paint.
