anyone encounter that there is not notification from whatsapp or even watching youtube there is no sound from your ride's speaker.

is your mobile phone set to silent? ie: vibrate only?

Is there any sound when you play music?

i dun play music from iphone.
whatsapp is not on silent..

Yes I had same problem. Notification all like silent off when it's connected on Bluetooth.

I do not encouter this problem. Suggest to look look into software version of connected drive (ensure both media and phone or running on the lastest).

Your phone become silent because it is sending all audio to the car's audio system. You need to turn on Bluetooth audio in the drive to hear the notifications.

What do u mean Bluetooth audio in the drive? How to turn on?

It is under Media in iDrive, one of the selection is Bluetooth audio.

It's ticked. That's how we connected to our iphone6. Just that the notification sound is not available upon connected.
Any kind soul can help?

anyone able to have their iphone's Bluetooth auto connect whenever u off and on the Bluetooth or switch between iPhones? Used to be able to do that until the Idrive software was updated to the latest udp1008 or something
