f10 glovebox area rattles

hi guys, i been getting this annoying rattle sound near the passenger area for the last few months. brought to pml to check inside passensger door and still the sound is there. after searching in the internet, i found that there is a nut/ screw under our glove box. so i found that that screw is loose and i am not sure why it is loose in the first place. anyway brought to pml to tighten the screw and all rattles are gone.

so guys in case u have any rattle, just rectify this first. hope it helps.

lol. i learnt one thing... if something in your car rattles, before wasting time going to the workshop, unload every dang thing in the car to test. sometimes, it cud be coins on the bottom of seats or gaps somewhere...

next time is checking where the parts are moving around.

learnt to keep stuff in the car minimal. really saves a lot of angst.

Thanks for the tips. Think most of us have to put up with some sort of rattling when it comes to BMW... Too many plastic bits.

yup actually went for a test drive with pml tester and wasted 1 hr. say need to take out dadh blah blah blah if want to rectify....

PML lack of intelligence is 1 topic that seems to be popping up very often in a number of threads LOL, must be true then.

Sometimes I think it is because I have never on the music...that is why I hear all the rattle...
