F1 Singapore - support needed

I'd like to push forward with my recent suggestion for BMW.SG to approach BMW for some special F1 deal when the race comes to town next year.

I'm thinking along the lines of group ticket discounts :cloud9: and exclusives during the one week when the BMW Sauber Team comes - anything from chats with the drivers :cloud9: to pit visits :cloud9: to technical sessions :cloud9:

Since there's no formal BMW club here, I think our forum has a reasonable chance of being "recognised." We can probably bypass the local dealership on this; acting as a group will give us more mileage as F1 fans than buying our own tickets or booking a race day hotel room.

I've never been in contact with BMW in Singapore or Munich and this idea is still very much preliminary, so any experiences, suggestions or constructive comments are most welcome!

hmmmmmmm ...

Re: F1 Singapore - support needed

yeah, just give us the tickets and clappers and flags and t shirts and underwear and a chance to rub breast with the race queens.

However, I do not relish speaking to that heidfeld who walks like a girl and i have never heard kubica speak ....

Hows about 1/2 price paddock club tickets with BWM Sauber racing? :)

I dunno about half price but yes, this is what I'm getting at: meaningful discounts and exclusives. We're not angling for discounts on S$100 tickets but the US$4k real McCoy :)

So OTs aside, this idea needs support if it's to go through... rather than have forumners sign up after it's a done deal. Come on folks, it costs you nothing but your commitment!

Admin - any thoughts?
