Exit to Unlock audio issue

Dear Bros,

Juz collected my ride i tried to play my CD changer behind the boot using the stock audio system but there is this Exit to Unlock prompt flashing cannot play my CD tried pressing most button but it just does not unlock ... the previous owner installed a Ipod cable in the arm rest compartment could it be due to that that is why i cannot play my CDs?
