enquiry on the boot

Hi , i would like to find out from you guys if you press the boot unlock button from your remote , will the boot open up fully or only just unlock and you still have to manually lift up the boot . Cause i never open the boot before i install the lip spoiler on the boot , nowadays only unlock . thanks .

on wat car ?? my e90 boot is unlock only.
