engine oil storage

Hi people,

I have left overs for a 4.5L bottle of engine oil. my question is that if the seal is already broken, can the engine oil be stored for some time for reuse again or have to be used ASAP?

I think its ok... there are some shops that sells Engine oil without the seal as well...
