Hi All,
I have installed the Eibach Pro Kit (new) last week. My ride is a Nov 2006 525i. Shocks are stock. Took great pains to buy the springs from the agent and went to BVO for installations, since most BMW specialised shops do not carry them. Wanted the extra comfort over H & Rs.
I searched this forum and noticed that there were incidents that after installation, the gap at the front wheel arch is one finger, while up to three fingers at the rear. Thought it wouldn't happen to me but I am experiencing the same!!!
The springs should be installed correctly. I had it double checked. I have even checked the individual part no. for the front and rear springs, to ensure that the springs are the correct ones for my car.
Would like to check with friends here who have installed Eibachs on their E60s before, do you have the same situations? If yes, do the rear springs/ shocks even settle after a while? If yes, how long? Also, can someone advise what could have gone wrong to cause the rear gap to be so wide? It is puzzling me and getting me impatient! :argue:
Thanks in advance!
