Has any fellow 323i owners done it? I would like to find out more about it.
Been doing some reading and it seems that DMS Automotive Porsche BMW Mercedes Performance tuning come out pretty strong. (of course they may have very strong marketing arm) I've read somewhere in this form that Rob Young does his world tour quite a bit. He does not come cheap. Last I saw was about 2.5k? Would like to hear from you if you have had your car tuned by him.

Locally there are 2 contenders. Just for cars and BVO. Now the question is do we have an apple and apple comparison here? Is it significant?

Will PML take this opportunity to 'void' the warranty if they found out during servicing?

thanks.

Driving now with BVO reflashed on E60, much much better than my previous piggyback.

FC wise?
Were there any agent conflict?

upgraded to 525 specs? i was told 523 with N52N only needs ECU remapping all other components are the same. how much did it cost you.

I did mine at BVO and am pretty happy. The torque is better at the low end but no huge horse gains at peak. Nicer to drive. J 4 C also has its clientele and they are equally happy.

I've tried to do it but I don't think there is any advantage or marked improvement. When it was first upgraded, I felt the change in torque and responsiveness, but I felt some jerkiness during cruise along the expressways where the engine cuts in and out.

I went back to the tuner, but he can't really solve the problem. I figured he retuned it back to closer to the original settings and the jerkiness went away, but the drive became normal and less responsive.

He told me to go back to him again if I want more torque, but just didn't have the time to keep going back, so I just left it alone.

In the end, I felt like I've spent the money, but didn't get the product I wanted. :furious:
